1.Director, Complaints Management and Legal Services (1 position)

Requirements:
1.Served for a minimum period of three years in the grade of either Head, Complaints/Legal or for a period of fifteen years in Complaints and Legal
services, five of which must have been in a senior management level in the Public Service or Private Sector;
2.A Bachelor’s degree in Law or equivalent qualifications from a recognized institution;
3.A Master’s degree in any of the following disciplines:-Law, Business Administration, Public Policy development or equivalent
qualifications from a recognized institution;
4.Post graduate diploma in legal studies;
5.Registered as an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya;

2.Head of Legal Services (1 position)

Requirements:
1.Served for a minimum period of three years in the grade of either Principal Legal Officer or for a period of twelve years in Legal services, three of which must have been in a management level in the Public Service or Private Sector;
2.A Bachelor’s degree in Law or equivalent qualifications from a recognized institution;
3.A Master’s degree in any of the following disciplines:-Law, Business Administration, Public Policy Development or equivalent qualifications from a recognized institution;

3.Senior Legal Officer (1 position)

Requirements:
1.A Bachelor’s degree in Law or equivalent qualifications from a recognized institution;
2.Post graduate Diploma in legal studies;
3.Registered as an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya;
4.Served for a minimum period of three years in the grade of either Legal Officer or for a period of six years in Legal services, in the Public Service or Private Sector post admission experience in Law as a legal practitioner/academician or judicial officer;
5.Knowledge and experience in a law enforcement environment will be an added advantage;
6.Certificate in computer application skills;

4.Senior Security/Intelligence Officer (2 positions)

Requirements:
1.Served in the grade of Security Officer for a minimum period of three years or six years in a comparable and relevant position in the Public or Private Sector;
2.Bachelor’s degree in Criminology or any other related and equivalent qualification from a recognized Institution;
3.Undergone six weeks approved security investigation and intelligence course at Criminal Investigation Department (CID) Training School or any other related and equivalent qualification from a recognized institution;
4.Attended a Management Course lasting not less than three weeks from a recognized Institution;
5.Certificate in computer application skills;
6.Shown merit, integrity and ability as reflected in work performance and results;

5.Principal Investigations Officer (7 positions)

Requirements:
1.Served for a minimum period of three years in the grade of Senior Investigations Officer or nine years in a comparable and relevant position in the Public Service or Private Sector;
2.A Bachelor’s degree in any of the following disciplines:-Forensic Science, Criminal Justice, Criminology, Law, Social Sciences or equivalent qualifications from a recognized institution;
3.Registered with a relevant Professional Body where applicable;
4.Shown merit, integrity and ability as reflected in work performance and results;
5.Strong managerial skills, including motivating, developing, coaching and leading teams;
6.Training in senior management course lasting not less than three weeks from a recognized institution will be an added advantage.

6.Senior Investigations Officer (19 positions)

1.Served for a minimum period of three years in investigatory work in a national or international investigation agency at the grade of Investigation Officer or Forensic Auditor or four years in a comparable and relevant position in the Public Service or Private Sector;
2.A Bachelor’s degree in any of the following disciplines: Criminal Justice, Criminology, Law, Political Science,Social Sciences or equivalent qualifications from a recognized institution;
3.A valid driving license;
4.Ability to use computer application;
5.Shown merit and ability as reflected in work performance; and
Demonstrable knowledge in investigation, forensic audit and human rights.

7.Investigations Officer (8 positions)

Requirements:
1.A Bachelor’s degree in any of the following disciplines: Forensic Science, Criminal Justice, Criminology, Law, Political Science, Human Rights, Social Sciences or equivalent qualifications from a recognized institution;
2.Ability to use computer application;

8.Senior Human Resource Officer (1 position)

Requirements:
1.Served in the grade of Human Resource Officer for a minimum period of three years or six in a comparable and relevant position in the Public or Private Sector;
2.Bachelor’s degree in any of the following disciplines: Human Resource Management/Development, Industrial Relations, Business Administration (Human Resource Option) or equivalent qualification from a recognized Institution;
OR
3.Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences with a Higher Diploma in Human Resource Management or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution;
4.IHRM Membership;

9.Senior Inspections Officer (1 position)

Requirements:
1.Served for a minimum period of three (3) years in the grade of Inspection or Monitoring Officer or four (4) years in a comparable and relevant position in the Public Service or Private Sector;
2.Bachelor’s degree in any of the following disciplines: Law, Public Administration, Criminology & Criminal Justice, Sociology, Political Science, Human Rights, Social Sciences or equivalent qualifications from a recognized institution;
3.Certificate in computer application skills with special emphasis on data analysis;
4.Shown merit and ability as reflected in work performance and results;
5.Candidates with field experience in inspections and monitoring will have added advantage.

10.Inspections Officer (6 positions)

Requirements:
1.Bachelor’s degree in any of the following disciplines: Law, Public Administration, Criminology & Criminal Justice, Sociology, Political Science, Human Rights, Social Sciences, recognized military or police degree or equivalent qualifications from a recognized institution;
2.Excellent knowledge of relevant computer applications.

11.Complaints Management Officer (7 positions)

Requirements:
1.Bachelor’s degree in any of the following disciplines:-Law, Criminology, Dispute Resolution, Psychology or equivalent qualifications from a recognized institution;
2.Certificate in computer application skills; and
3.Shown merit, integrity and ability as reflected in work performance and results.

12.Senior Clerical Officer (Mombasa, Kisumu or Garissa Office) (3 positions)

Requirements:
1.Served in the grade of Clerical Officer I for a minimum period of three years at IPOA or four years in a comparable and relevant position in the Public or Private Sector;
2.Passed either CPA Part 2, Kenya Accountants and Technicians Certificate (KATC) intermediate level, Kenya Administration and Management Examination (KAME), offered by Kenya Accountants and Secretaries National Examination Board (KASNEB), Certificate in Human Resource/Personnel Management or its equivalent qualification from a recognized institution;
3.Certificate in computer application skills; and
4.Shown merit and ability as reflected in work performance and results

13.Drivers (3 positions)

Requirements:
1.Served in the grade of Driver II for a minimum period of three years or five years in a comparable and relevant position in the Public or Private sector;
2.Passed Occupational Trade Test I for Drivers conducted by the relevant Government Ministry/Department;
3.Valid driving license free from any current endorsement(s) for class(es) of vehicle(s) an officer is required to drive;
4.Defensive Driving Certificate from the Automobile Association (AA) of Kenya of its equivalent qualification from a recognized Institution;
5.Attended a Refresher Course for drivers lasting not less one week at Kenya Institute of Highway and building Technology (KIHBT) or any other recognized institution;
6.First-Aid Certificate lasting not less than one week from St. John Ambulance or Kenya Institute of Highway and Building technology (KIHBT) or any other recognized Institution;
7.A valid Certificate of Good conduct from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI); and
8.Demonstrated outstanding professional competence and integrity as reflected in work performance.

14.Support Staff (Mombasa, Kisumu or Garissa Offices) (3 positions)

Requirements:
1.Be in possession of at least the Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) mean grade D;
2.Have at least two years relevant experience.
